Edisto 2014 Day Six

Thursday morning we spent some time practicing cheers and learning some really "goldie oldie" ones that Huddy liked!  I'm struggling getting all the videos to upload, but maybe one day I will learn how to do it....

While we practiced cheers, the boys went deep sea fishing.... there is a great video of Ben catching the shark on Mark's FB page... I'm still having bad dreams about him not having on his life jacket... I have lots of pictures with it on, but this was obviously the most dangerous part of the day.... MEN....
 Ben and Mr. Brett
 Mayonnaise... thank goodness he went....

Phil is wondering how he got talked into this adventure!
 First shark....

And the reason Mayo needed to be there... Mark cut his foot open... he jumped off the boat to get the minnow bucket and stepped on oyster shells..... Mayo had a first aid kit....

 Kissing that shark....
 A small stingray
 another shark...
And the big one... so happy!
Mark grilled the shark to go with our supper of Mahi Mahi and Ben loved it.... I thought it tasted like chicken....He made a meal off the shark!

This next picture is scary.... Mark looks like he is being stabbed in the back.... our game for the night was to break into teams.... get on the golf cart for 15 minutes....and find as many things beginning with the letter drawn as we could.... we had to take pictures to prove it and then come back together... One team.... well... I think they may have cheated... they went to Bi-Lo and took pictures of everything beginning with the letter M... we know they broke the law because they rode on roads they weren't supposed to with the golf cart... and I would never accuse anyone of cheating... but... you know....

This is MYRA.... letter M.... and Mark was on the  winning team....

After Rummy-O and Hearts... we called it a night... the card people stayed up way later than us Rummy-O people....they were sooooo competitive!  And this is how I found the shark catcher when I went to bed....

The "preciousness" of this makes it okay that he was sassy before I made him go to bed.... He was "tide"...or he had a "fever"....or maybe... he was just "Being Ben"....
